What model is your cable box?
If you change the channel with the cable box remote control does the display 1004 change?
There are a couple things that could cause this issue.
First, I recommend unplugging the cable from the box to the TV, wait 2 minutes then reconnect it.
Then, Check the input that you have your TV on to make sure that it matches to where the cable is connected.
Next, Power off the cable box and power it back on.
