Well I hooked the cable straight to the TV....and it worked. I then hooked the cable back up to the CableCard Tuner....and it's now working again. I have no idea why that fixed it, perhaps unhooking...

If you have Trio (Contour) you can set it so the clock is only illuminated when the DVR power is on. When you turn the DVR off, the entire front panel goes dark.

Your cable box doesn't adjust the volume on your TV. The remote control for your cable box adjusts the volume on your TV.Do you remember entering the code for your TV into the cable-box remote-control...
