- Welcome to the new age of no customer service. You will now be transferred all over the country trying to get someone to answer your questions, or terminate your service. This is a company that is closing the majority of the call centers except for chosen few. How sad, I used to be a former cox employee, we offered great customer service, great value. Those were the good old days and never to be seen again. Too bad. I called last night because the local channel that is suppose to broadcast 810, was broadcasting the same show that was on channel 10, but we like to see the news when we want to see it. Called customer support, transferred to Texas, I am in San Diego, he couldn't check the feed, about 20 minutes later the people working the switch decided to switch it to the right programming.
