We have been having the same issues while watching live tv and not being able to rewind. Sometimes if I use the little loop looking button, that rewinds 7 seconds at a time, that will work. I can just sit there and have to press it 1000 times to back far. I have figured out a fix (for us at least). If we press the record button, and start recording the program, then we can rewind normally. But is it really worth doing for lets say, a missed commercial, or 3 minute segment?!?
