We have a bunch of issues! It **, bc I want to get a new box to fix the problems, but then we lose the 40% of shows we have recorded.
1. We can't rewind live t.v.. The toolbar just jumps and it acts like it can't. Our other dvr doesn't have this issue, so it's just our box with the issue.
2. While watching anything on our dvr, if you pause it, it jumps back to live tv after about 8 minutes of being paused. Our old box could be paused indefinitely. Both of our boxes have this issue, so I don't think it's just an issue with us. This problem also is with pay-per-view purchases. If paused for more that 7 or 8 minutes it closes down the movie, and jumps back to live t.v.
3. With our controller, the closed caption button, as well as the picture in picture buttons on the bottom of the controller don't do anything. Both used to work on our old dvr controller.
4. The search option in the guide doesn't work more than half the time. It doesnt find anything. The lists stay blank. Even if you search for the letter a........nothing, while other times it works a-ok.
