Referring to the Cox HD channel line-up, there is the phrase "requires subscription to the corresponding
core channel". What is a "Core channel"?
We usually subscribe by tiers or channel packages, not individual channels, because this is the only
choice we have.
Case in point: I receive Fox News and Fox Sports, and until this week, I was also receiving Fox Business
on channel 1313 - but no more! Instead, I get an on-screen message to "Subscribe" by calling 383-4000.
When I contact customer service, I am told that I have to buy a "SPORTS package" in order to view FBN.
(FBN does not stand for Foot Ball Network)
Why do I suddenly have to subscribe to a sports package in order to watch a BUSINESS CHANNEL???
