I have one Host and one Client in my home. It seems like almost once a week I have to power cycle both of them because the client stops communicating with the host. It usually begins with one or two recorded shows not being playable on the client, then progresses to the client not being able to even access the DVR at all. When I've called into Cox in the past, they always had me power cycle the boxes and that usually fixed it. I've stopped calling them when this happens, but now it seems like the power cycling is not always working anymore. Sometimes I get fed up with it and give up for the night to find it working in the morning. I am about ready to cancel the thing altogether! Any ideas of what could be the problem? Any idea when the new boxes I've been hearing about (which I hope might fix this and other bugs/quirks) are going to be pushed to Kansas?
