Same here. CBS is broadcasting the Patriots-Dolphins game today (big game in AL East)...but I'm forced to watch the awful Redskins on the only channel broadcasting a game, Fox.
However, it's not the fault of Cox. Cox will deliver to your home whatever program your local affiliate is broadcasting. Your local CBS affiliate, however, has decided to not broadcast any game that would distract from your local team. It's called a blackout. It's galactically stupid. And there must be a payoff somewhere between the team and local affiliates.
If you go satellite dish, there are no local affiliates...because the signal goes from Satellite Dish HQ, up to a satellite in space, down to your dish...so you can watch whichever CBS stations are broadcasting your game-of-the-week.
